First, the City Council tells us the source to happiness is a 0.75 cent sales tax increase.  When the dust settled we were told that it was not quite enough for their gradiose plans.  Additionally, they will need a property tax increase of 8 cents in 2021, a new hotel/motel tax as soon as possible, and just to make sure they have enough, they will need another property tax increase in 2026.  Now, (03/06/2020) we are told that needs to be a 10 cent property tax increase rather than 8 cents previously mentioned.  

All of the above and we still don't know the total cost of this fiasco nor the final plans for this Taj Mahal. We do know that no matter how they take it will never be enough to satisfy them.
